This is the Violet Gown from *Bliss Couture* shown in Steel Pink. I love everything about this gown. It makes you feel very feminine. The gown is topped off with a lace collar and there are lace sleeves as well. There is a long and a short train to the skirt. It all comes together in a very beautifully made gown. This is the Monica gown from My Precious shown in black. Agnes Finney was kind enough to send me a copy of the gown to blog. Thank you Agnes! Monica is a close-fitting gown with beautiful floral detail in the skirt, ends in a beautiful mermaid style at the bottom with a dramatic high-back collar and matching opera length gloves. An absolutely gorgeous gown and a must have for your SL closet!

This is the new Rica Gown from *Bliss Couture* in teal. The Rica Gown is also available in magenta, red, black, blue and purple. The bodice of this teal version of the gown is overlaid with a lovely lace floral pattern in lavendar which is repeated at the bottom of the prim skirt. I spent some time poking around Caledons and the Steamlands the last few days – it had been a while since I’d spent any time there, alot of the builds are quite lovely. A visit to Montagne Noire Clothiers to discover these lovely velveteen gowns with matching teardrop hats.Fleur d’Automne in Onyx is offered as a thank you gift to residents who place Montagne Noire in their Profile Picks. This lovely dress is also available in ruby, turquoise and topaz (for a very reasonable 250L). Montagne Noire Clothiers is definately worth a visit for any fashionable lady.

Last week after a post from Alidar Moxie I hopped over to XStreet and ordered a Seymour of my very own. Seymour is a virtual plant, that begins as a seed which is planted, watered (if you’re the responsible sort), and grows to form a unique species of flower. Seymour plants also post status messages to a plurk or twitter account to keep you apprised of its status during the blooming process (It also had the added benefit of boosting my karma at plurk, as the posting interval of my Seymour plant seemed to please the karma gods). You have to water your Seymour, you can purchase water at the reasonable price of L$10 per watering from one of the Seymour Supply Vendors available on XStreet.

So I planted my seed and dubbed him Stanely Seymour – and decided to document his growth during the 4 days it took the flower to bloom.

After my flower had been created i was given the opportunity to name the species. I dubbed it Fiannicus Catarina and it gave me a seed that I can now gift to a friend so that the species can carry on.

My first effort in content creation in SL is The Fianna Shape which I made to compliment the [E3D] Enchant 3D Ophelia Sherbert Skin made by my good friend, Fianna Idora. The skin has very tiny, dainty pink lips and colorful eyeshadow which really brings out the eyes. (I have to add that the sexy bits are quite well made and I was impressed and I am very picky with my sexy bits). I made the Fianna Shape a bit shorter and sportier than what I usually wear but it went well with the skin and really complimented the facial features well.

The bikini I am wearing is the Crochet! Flower Straps Bikini and is free at Crochet! Original Beachwear. That's right I said free! I'm wearing the Jess hair from >Truth< in the night shade. The hair is also free!

The poses that I used are part of the Swimsuit Model II Pose Set made by Long Awkward Pose. Perfect poses for modeling swimsuits. Once again Dove Swanson has outdone herself.

When I first started into SL, many of my early explorations were in the elven, fairy, and fantasy realms. I remember discovering RFyre Gothic Couture and reveling at the beautiful clothing there. One of my earlier purchases was this beautiful green gown with gold accents called the Solstice Hunters dress, and decided to make it the starting point for this post. I stopped in there today and got a chat note that there is a $L99 Labor Day Sale going on – I’ll likely stop in there later to check it out! You should too!

I set out in search of a fantasy skin – I came across a post for a skin shop I hadn’t heard of before called {Frick} – which it turns out has a large line of fantasy skins at are very reasonably priced! I found this very pretty tan skin with lovely gold shimmery eye makeup that really picked up to gold accents from the dress, called Allemande. The skins also come with freckles also which is a goto option for me!

I’ve been hooked on the new hair releases from Truth the past few weeks – I found this lovely loosely gathered side pony called Meara, and pulled it down around my Mythic Ears from Hybrid. Unfortunately because of the hair, you can’t see it too well these images, but I’m wearing a beautiful Celtic cross with inlay-ed gems from my old MCJ classmates’ store, Arshira’s Aerie. Its a beautiful necklace with easy texture change on touch scripts which allow you to play with the colors to match any outfit. She’ll likely be at the Jewelry Fair coming up in a few weeks, can’t wait to see her new releases.

I’m in-between shapes at the moment so picked out this feminine Emily shape made by my friend Phoenix from Firefly Fashions (which imo is super cute with this skin) and added a few staple items like my Mirror Green Eyes from Celestial Studios, Bedroom Lashes from Cake. Set off for Straylight with an armful of poses from Long Awkward Pose and Voila!

I’m loving this outfit from Bare Rose called Diamond Disco. The outfit comes in silver and gold (is shown in gold) and comes with a jacket, coat and hat (not shown). I paired the outfit with a pair of Caress Platform shoes from SLink in taupe. I’m wearing a skin from Tuli that I just couldn’t resist any longer and broke down and bought today and a new hairstyle from fri.day. I managed to incorporate a pose from the Pro Posers Hunt that I did last week.
